I will continue to support economic development. The future needs of our city are important. I brought an outdated General Plan and Development Code to the city’s attention. A clear and concise General Plan accompanied by a consistent interpretation of the Development Code must exist for current and future business to prosper. I will continue to support a timely and accurate completion of our General Plan and Development Code.

Current residents and businesses deserve the support of City Hall. While I support economic development, I feel the time, energy and money City Hall has spent on future economic development is unbalanced. Ever since incorporation our city has been tunnel visioned, on building a city, rather than BUILDING A COMMUNITY. The residents and businesses that have already invested in Murrieta deserve their fair share of City Hall’s time!

We CAN have an acute positive impact on our current business owners. A business and resident friendly environment, must be created at City Hall. A CAN DO ATTITUDE, must be adopted and customer service shall be second to none. Business license incentives, permit fee reductions and a streamlined consistent approval process are just a few items that CITY HALL CAN DO TO WORK FOR YOU!
